Morgan Manufacturing and Engineering was founded by its president Wade Morgan in 1975. His engineering experiences at Ford Motor Co., Ingersoll Rand, and Celanese Piping Systems allowed him to enter the drapery equipment manufacturing field with modern techniques and ideas.

many patents he holds were acquired on machines designed with two specific goals
in mind : 1) to minimize service and maintenance problems, and
